Rediscovered “A Pattern Language for Pattern Writing” while talking to @FND about a TiddlyWiki for Patterns

20 Aug

This came up because we were discussing patterns for TiddlyWebWiki and TiddlyCMS, two emerging projects. The former is about one of the main original goals for TiddlyWeb, ie to act as a granular, RESTful, data store for TiddlyWeb. The latter is about consolidating work on the various CMS related verticals and building a framework for similar products to build.

Each has design patterns and we are keen to capture those in a (what else?) TiddlyWiki. The paper above has a great summary of the possible fields that go into a design pattern.
